On May 15, 2025, the Hellenic Sinology Center was visited by the President of Beijing Language and Culture University, Professor Ni Haidong, accompanied by Professor Xu Baofeng, President of the World Sinology Center, Professor Luo Lin, Vice President of the Academic Committee of BLCU and Dean of the Institute of International and Regional Studies and the School of Foreign Languages, and by Professor Guo Peng, Vice Rector and Dean of the Graduate School and the School of Humanities. The delegation met, in the presence of the Rector of the Ionian University, Professor Andreas Floros, with Professor Stavros Katsios, Director of the Hellenic Sinology Center, Professor Stefanos Vlachopoulos, Head of the Interpretation Program of the Ionian University, and Mrs. Elena Avramidou, Executive Director and Coordinator of the Hellenic Sinology Center. During the meeting, they were briefed on the activities and programming of the Hellenic Sinology Center and an overview of the results of the cooperation between the two institutions to date.
