To strengthen ideological and cultural exchanges between nations, to give full play to the connecting role of Sinologists, and to establish dialogue mechanisms between Sinologists, academics, institutions, and Chinese academics, the goal is to promote greater cooperation among Sinologists worldwide and to enhance the mutual exchange of knowledge between Chinese culture and other cultures. The Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) co-hosted with the Global Sinology Center the Fourth Dialogue on Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizations in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, May 28-June 2, 2025, and in Beijing, June 2-5, 2025. More than 300 participants were invited to attend the conference, including (former) officials from many countries, heads of non-governmental organizations, famous Sinologists, experts and academics, and well-known figures in the fields of culture.

The director of the Hellenic Sinology Center, Professor Stavros Katsios, was the only Greek invited to give a presentation in the section "Seeking Harmony without Uniformity through Mutual Learning: The Diversity of Cultures from the Perspective of Sinologists," organized by the World Center for Sinology of Beijing Language and Culture University.

The Director of the ECC was accredited to the 20-member group of foreign guests who had a private meeting with the Vice President of China, Mr. Han Zheng (group photo after the meeting).
